Sedrick, the photographer
I picked up my camera during a difficult time in my life, when everything around me felt temporary and uncertain. Living in a transient city, photography became a way to ground myself, something steady I could carry with me. It gave me a reason to step outside, to explore, and in many ways, it became a quiet companion on those long, wandering days.
Along the way, it did more than just document moments, it introduced me to new people and unexpected relationships, turning passing encounters into something lasting. What started as a way to cope slowly became a part of who I am. Over time, that focus on composition, framing, and observation found its way back into my art, shaping how I see, design, and tell stories.
Sedrick, the artist
I’m a Jamaican visual development artist, SCAD graduate, and freelance illustrator who has worked with studios like GENR8-3D, Klustr Inc, and Becktronics. My work tends to live in the unusual, pulling from strange, offbeat themes to create visuals that feel different, sometimes a little uncomfortable, but always intentional. That approach lets me bring a new spin to any studio I step into. I’m also a gamer at heart, deeply influenced by the worlds and systems that shaped how I think about design. When I’m not creating, I’m moving, staying active, and riding motorcycles, using the road as a way to experience the world directly, collecting moments, motion, and atmosphere that inevitably find their way back into my work.
